NAF Provides Free Medical Services To Osun Indigenes

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Tuesday said it would continue to impact on lives of the populace through its free medical outreach initiative aimed at tackling health-related issues.

The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, made this known during a two-day medical outreach for the people of Ikeji-Ile in Osun.

Abubakar, represented by the Director of Public Health and Humanitarian Services, Headquarters Abuja, Group Capt. Aliyu Tanko, said the outreach, which started since 2015, had impacted positively on the health of many Nigerians.

Anambra State Government said it will from December 1, 2019 assign buses that would convey people around the state on designated routes free of charge. The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transport Company of Anambra State, TRACAS, Dr. Ifeoma Madukasi disclosed this while addressing journalists yesterday at the company’s head office in Awka. Dickson provides automatic jobs to Ijaw PhD holders

Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has offered automatic employments to all PhD holders from Bayelsa State and Ijaw indigenes in other states across the country.

The governor clarified the beneficiaries of the offer were Ijaws from Ondo, Edo, Delta, Rivers and Akwa Ibom states.

Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said Dickson made the announcement while inaugurating the Committee for the Employment of Ph.D holders across Ijaw land.
