The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has vowed to re-launch it’s rested outfit, Biafra Security Service (BSS) to get even with the southwest security, Amotekun.

The Publicity Secretary of IPOB Emma Powerful who disclosed this to our correspondent in Owerri condemned the planned proscription of the Yoruba security outfit by the Federal Government, alleging that it was deliberately kicking against Amotekun because it supported the killings in the North and other parts of the country.

Powerful also described the Miyetti Allah’s call for the ban of Amotekun as wicked and selfish.

Nigerians Have Right To Protect Their Domains – Oba Muftau

The paramount ruler of Offa in Kwara State, Oba Muftau Gbadamosi, Esuwoye 11 on Tuesday said considering the peculiarities of Nigeria’s security architecture, it is incumbent on communities to protect their domains.

He opined that every effort to safeguard lives and property within the ambit of extant law of the land is necessary, arguing that security is realistically the business of everybody.

US-Led Coalition Launches Operation To Protect Gulf Waters

US launched operations in Bahrain on Thursday to protect shipping in the troubled waters of the Gulf, following a string of attacks that Washington and its allies blamed on Iran.

New regulations to protect local govt funds from governor

Local governments financial autonomy is set for a major boost — courtesy of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU).

The agency yesterday banned banks, governors,  financial institutions, public officers and other stakeholders from tampering with the statutory allocations of Local Government Areas from the Federation Account.
