
Terrorism, Major Threat To Peace, Progress Of West Africa
President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, said terrorism remained the major threat to the peace and progress of the West African sub-region.
This is even as the President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission, Jean-Claude Kassi Brou, said attacks in the region rose by 80 percent in the first eleven months of 2019 compared to the year 2018.
