INEC Chairman Reveals Extension Of Voters’ Registration Process

As he caves in to the mounted pressures to extend the date for the Continuous Voter Registration exercise, Professor Mahmood Yakubu who is the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has made announcements that the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration which had been initially scheduled to come to an end on the 30th of June, 2022, has been adequately extended.

INEC: APC Congratulates Yakubu Over Senate Confirmation

The Nigeria ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has sent a congratulatory message to Professor Mahmood Yakubu on his reappointment and Senate’s confirmation as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The party said Yakubu has the task of ensuring an unbiased and apolitical election in Nigeria.
