2023 Budget: Buhari, Osinbajo To Spend ₦14bn On Internet

The Presidential Villa in Nigeria will gulp at least ₦14.8bn on Internet access, stationery, and telephone charges, among others, under the Federal Government’s planned expenditure which was captured in the 2023 budget.

In the budget which was obtained by Africa Daily News, New York, ₦67.1m was set aside for Internet access to the Villa, while stationery and computer consumables would be taking ₦79m.

A further breakdown of the budget also showed that ₦35.9m was allocated for electricity charges, telephone charges and water rates each got ₦306.2m, ₦6m, and ₦40.6m respectively.

Burial Date For Laetitia Dagan Announced

Late Laetitia Naankang Dagan, the Assistant Director of Administration in Aso Rock Presidential Villa murdered in her home in Abuja on Monday evening will be buried in Jos, Plateau State on Friday, February 21, 2020.

Dagan, who who was murdered at her Lokogoma, Abuja apartment by yet to be identified gunmen was allegedly molested before the assailants set her ablaze on Monday night.

She will be interred at her family burial ground at Kwoor, in Kwalla community of Plateau State.
