Buhari To Depart Nigeria For Mali On Peace Mission

Following his meeting with the ECOWAS Special Envoy, and former President Goodluck Jonathan, President Muhammadu Buhari will Thursday depart for Bamako, the capital of Mali on a one-day visit.

This was contained in a statement signed by his Spokesman, Femi Adesina on Wednesday.

The statement added that Buhari and some ECOWAS leaders led by the Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the sub-regional organisation, President Issoufou Mahamadou of Niger Republic, agreed to meet in Mali.
