Mbaka May Be Barred From Preaching By Catholic

The Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Adewale Martins, says the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, could be banned from preaching if he continues to deviate from the doctrines and tenets of the Catholic Church.

Martins, who was appointed Archbishop of Lagos by the Pope in 2012, said this during an interview with the BBC Igbo while reacting to Mbaka’s prophecy that Hope Uzodinma would emerge as governor of Imo State.

Kwara Govt Bans Preaching In Public Schools

Kwara State government has kicked against preaching by religious groups in public schools.

The government in a statement on Monday, signed by Hajia Fatimoh Bisola Ahmed, Hon. Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, banned preaching in all public schools henceforth.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said that there is no assignment greater than preaching forgiveness.

He stated this at the presentation of Felix Meduoye: The Footprint of an Apostle of Grace, a biography on the General Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church, Rev. Felix Meduoye, on Sunday at the church’s headquarters in Yaba.
