Donald Trump has warned that the U.S. will ‘strike back’ harder at Iran if it retaliates against over the killing of military leader Qasem Soleimani.

‘These Media Posts will serve as notification to the United States Congress that should Iran strike any U.S. person or target, the United States will quickly & fully strike back, & perhaps in a disproportionate manner,’ Trump tweeted on Sunday afternoon.

FG Places $200m Bank Guarantee With UK Court In P&ID Row

Nigeria has given a bank guarantee of $200 million to the United Kingdom Commercial Court hearing its dispute with a British Virgin Islands-based engineering firm, Process and Industrial Development Limited (P&ID), over a botched Gas Supply and Processing Agreement (GSPA), which the federal government believed was fraudulently procured.

But P&ID has denied any wrongdoing in the agreement it entered into with the federal government to process wet gas for the generation of electricity for the country.

The Department of State Security (DSS) has disclosed that some category of political and youth leaders likely to instigate violence and stockpile arms have been placed under surveillance ahead of the November 16 governorship election.

Nigeria Moves 15 Places Up On Ease Of Doing Business Index

Nigeria has moved up by 15 places to 131 on the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business ranking. Africa’s most populous country was ranked 146th in the previous year.

The report is an annual publication that measures business regulations across 190 countries. In its latest study, World Bank ranked Nigeria in the top 10 economies where business climates have been improved. Nigeria was ranked 15 in ease of getting credits or loans.

Nigeria’s worst ranking in the report was at the ease of registering properties where it ranked 183. Nigeria also ranked 179 in trading across borders.
