Air Peace: Allegation Against Allen Onyema False

Ejiro Eghagha, AirPeace Chief of Administration and Finance has denied allegations made against her by the  US Attorney in Atlanta, Georgia in relation to purchase of Aircraft, Aircraft spares and Aircraft maintenance for her employer.
Eghagha insists that none of the allegations involve any third  party funds but relate to funds belonging to her employer and utilized in the Airline business.
This response is coming a few hours after news  involving the  Allen Ifechukwu Athan Onyema, the Chairman, CEO, and founder of Air Peace, a Nigerian airline broke.

Air Peace To Begin Kano-Owerri Direct Flight November 26

Air Peace Airlines said it will commence Kano-Owerri-Kano direct flight from November 26, 2019. The airline’s Corporate Communications Executive, Stanley Olisa, who disclosed this in a statement said the flight days would be Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

He said the airline has provided  direct connectivity between the two destinations and passengers won’t have to travel from Kano to Lagos or Abuja to connect a flight to Owerri.

Air Peace Signs Order For 3 E195-E2 Jets, Worth $212.6m

Air Peace Airline says it has signed a contract with Embraer for three additional E195-E2 aircraft, worth $212.6 million.

The company in a statement on Sunday in Lagos said the contract confirmed the purchase rights from the original contract signed in April. It said the new E195-E2s would be included in Embraer’s 2019 fourth-quarter backlog, and the $212.6 million was based on Embraer’s current list prices.

The E195-E2 is the largest aircraft in the E-Jet E2 family.

AIB Releases Report On Incidents Involving Air Peace

Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) Nigeria has released the preliminary reports on the incidents involving three aircraft, two B737-300s with tail number 5N-BUK and 5N-BQO and a B737-500 with registration 5N-BRN owned and operated by Air Peace and has issued safety recommendations.

The bureau has issued six safety recommendations for immediate implementation by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and all operators especially with regards Standard Operational Procedures (SOP).

The reports released by AIB included the incident involving Air Peace B737-300 aircraft with registration marks 5N-BUK at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on May 15, 2019.

Nigeria’s leading carrier, Air Peace, has brought in a B737-800NG to help sustain its expansion, domestic and regional operations.

The aircraft arrived the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos at the weekend from Europe.

In line with its expansion plan, Nigerian carrier, Air Peace has acquired a B737- 800NG to boost its domestic and regional operations.
