PDP shuns INEC parley with political parties

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) shunned Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) organised parley with political parties.

There were about sixty political parties were in attendance.

PDP and it’s presidential candidate in the 2019 poll, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are already in Court challenging the outcome of the election.

The parley is meant to review the Conduct of the 2019 general elections.

Otunba Niyi Adebayo represented the All Progressive Congress (APC).

How political parties created logistics problem – INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that the  large number of political parties that participated in the 2019 general elections created a lot of logistics problem.

Malam Mohammed Haruna, the National Commissioner in charge of Kwara, Kogi and Nasarawa States,  said this in Ilorin while speaking with journalists.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that INEC organised a workshop in Kwara  to  review  the 2019 general elections.

According to the National Commissioner, there were 799 litigations from the 2019 general elections across the country.

42 parties to challenge Ganduje’s victory in court

Forty-two political parties on the platform of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) Kano State chapter are set to challenge the re-election of the state governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in court.

Kano State CUPP chairman Muhammad Abdullahi Raji stated this while addressing journalists on the outcome of the rerun election won by Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
