The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has called on Nigerian parents to ensure the proper conduct of their wards in view of avoiding actions that could be hijacked by mischief makers to create tension in the country.

El-Rufai’s came on the heels of the murder of Deborah Samuel, a 200 level student of College of Education, who was accused by her killers of insulting Prophet Mohammed in Sokoto State.

Dr Nwaome Nwaogu, a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist, advised parents to moderate sugar and refined carbs given to children to avoid being diabetic.

Makinde Urges Parents To Prioritise Children’s Education

Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has urged parents and guardians to prioritise the education of their children and wards.

Makinde made the call on Sunday at St. Paul Anglican Church, Yemetu, Ibadan, during the 80th Thanksgiving Service, organised for Mrs Abigael Makinde, the governor’s mother.
