
Democrats Slam DOJ Over Epstein Files Release As Misleading
Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee criticized the Department of Justice on Tuesday, saying nearly all documents recently released concerning disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were already public. They urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to comply with a congressional subpoena and release all unredacted records.
In a statement, committee Democrats said their initial review of the 33,295 pages showed that 97% of the materials had already been disclosed by federal, state, or local authorities.
