Court Okays Oyo Dep Gov, Olaniyan’s Impeachment Process

Mr. Rauf Olaniyan, the Oyo State Deputy Governor is in serious trouble as an Oyo State High Court has dismissed a suit which was filed by him against his impeachment.
The Oyo State House of Assembly had a few weeks ago initiated an major impeachment process against the deputy governor which would seek to upturn his political powers coming with the deputy Governor position.
Africa Daily News, New York recalls that Olaniyan had later approached the court to stop the lawmakers from impeaching him. The court has, however, dismissed the suit filed by the deputy governor.
