Court Restrains Oyo Assembly From Impeachming Deputy Gov

In a fresh directive, the Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has put out measures to fully restrained and halt the Oyo State House of Assembly from further impeachment processes which would be taken against the Deputy Governor of the state, Engineer Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan.

The court  had been presided over by Justice Ladiran Akintola gave this order on Wednesday.

Oyo State Police Command on Monday paraded no fewer than seven (7) suspected kidnappers who kidnapped twins of an Ibadan-based Islamic cleric, Sheik Taofeek Akewugbagold.
