Nwodo: Erring Igbo Elders Should Be Stoned – Ohanaeze Backs Kanu

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, OYC, on Friday, backed the idea of using jungle justice to discipline some erring Igbo elders, whose adult delinquencies had instituted untold hardship and insecurity challenges against the Southeast.

OYC stated this while lambasting Nnia Nwodo, President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo for ineffective representation of the Southeast.

The group lamented that Nwodo has failed to represent and market the Southeast to the world properly, from his time as Information Minister.

‘Nwodo Should Emulate Oshiomhole, Accept Dissolution Of NEC’

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, OYC, on Monday called on Nnia Nwodo, President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to “emulate Adams Oshiomhole,” immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

OYC said Nwodo should emulate Oshiomhole and accept the dissolution of his exco over their Inability to conclude the registration process of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, which his predecessor, Chief Gary Igariwey began in 2016.

Igbo Groups Back OYC, Chide Ohanaeze On State Creation

A Coalition of Igbo groups has risen in defence of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, OYC, as the crisis within the Ohanaeze Ndigbo widens.

DAILY POST had reported that a new Ohanaeze Ndigbo has now emerged with the registration of Ohanaeze Ndigbo General Assembly by the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC.

With the development, the Chief Nnia Nwodo-led Ohanaeze is expected to witness a split.

Coup d’Etat: Ohanaeze Rebuffs Abaribe’s Armed Force Bill

Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), the apex Igbo socio-cultural youth body, has described the newly introduced Armed Forces Bill in the National Assembly as an invitation of coup d’etat against civilian Presidents.

The Igbo group cautioned members of the National Assembly on the implications of the proposed Armed Forces Bill by the Senate if passed into law.
