NNPC/Chevron, NDPHC Olorunsogo Others Sign GSAA
Chevron Nigeria Limited, CNL, in its capacity as Sellers’ Representative for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and itself, has signed a Gas Sale and Aggregation Agreement, GSAA, with Olorunsogo Generation Company Limited, Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited, NDPHC, and Gas Aggregation Company Nigeria Limited, GACN.
The agreement was executed on behalf of the four companies by Sanjay Narasimhalu, Director, Downstream Gas, CNL; Chiedu Ugbo, MD, NDPHC; Ifeoluwa Oyedele, Executive Director, NDPHC, for Olorunsogo Generation Company Limited; and Engr Morgan Okwoche, MD/CEO, GACN, respectively.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) seems to be in a fix over the membership status of the immediate past governors of Ogun and Imo states, Ibikunle Amosun and Owelle Rochas Okorocha respectively and two others, seven months after their suspension by the National Working Committee (NWC).

Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa, Mozambique, Senegal, and Mauritania have been identified as African countries that will spur investment in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) on the continent to about $103 billion this year.
Holding about 7.1 per cent of proven global gas reserves, a report yesterday, from the 5th Gas Summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, said the continent will contribute nearly 10 per cent of global LNG production growth through to 2024.

A fresh protest against the continued detention of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife, yesterday claimed the life of a Deputy Commissioner of Police, Umar Usman. Police nab soldier, others for alleged kidnapping
The police in Anambra State have arrested members of a four-man gang for alleged kidnapping.
The suspects allegedly wore military uniforms to deceive and kidnap people.
Three of them, including a lance corporal in the Army, were wearing military uniforms and vests when they were nabbed by the police last Friday after allegedly abducting Uchenna Ezeonu in Ekwulobia, Anambra State, the police said.
