Ossiomo Power: How Nigeria Lost $1.9m In 5 Days – Gov Obaseki

The Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has revealed that Nigeria has lost over $1.9million in the past five days due to the disturbance of gas distribution to the Ossiomo Power plant situated in Ologbo, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of the state.
The Ossiomo Power project is a product of Governor Godwin Obaseki-led state administration to ensure that the state maintains and generates power independently
The 95 megawatts installation came to fulfillment through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Ossiomo Power Company which powers government offices, hospitals, and streetlights in Benin metropolis.
