The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, has, again, berated the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC) government, describing it as a lame duck, bare-footed, incompetent and visionless which was pushed Nigeria into deeper crisis.

Ortom Appoints Ben Agande GM Benue Publishing Company

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has approved the appointment of Ben Agande as General Manager, Benue Printing and Publishing Corporation, BPPC, publishers of The Voice Newspaper.

A statement issued by Ortom’s Chief Press Secretary, Tever Akase said the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Anthony Ijohor had already issued a letter of appointment to the new BPPC General Manager, which takes effect from January 27, 2020.

Agande takes over from Philip Anza who has been redeployed as Principal Special Assistant to the Governor on Commercial Enterprises.

The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, has narrated how he narrowly escaped death after suspected herdsmen shot at him in his farm.

The Governor said he was shot while in his farm located along Makurdi – Naka road in Makurdi, Benue state capital.

The Benue State Government yesterday disclosed that it had concluded plan to invest over N5.6 billion in its basic education.

The details of the meeting between Governors of Benue and Nasarawa States at the Government House in Lafia, have emerged.

The Governor of Benue State, Dr Samuel Ortom, has cried out over Federal Government’s decision to withdraw the military from combatting insurgents and other internal uprisings.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has condemned the recent attack on the residence of former President Goodluck Jonathan in Otuoke, Bayelsa State by gunmen yesterday
