2023: You Are Part Of The Old System, Sowore Attacks Obi

Ahead of next year’s Presidential elections, the candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, Omoyele Sowore yesterday attacked former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, saying that not the change Nigeria needs.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today which was monitored by Africa Daily News, New York Sowore said Mr. Obi was part of the old system that has crippled the nation’s fortunes.

Mr. Obi is also running for President in 2023 on the platform of the Labour Party.

Activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, has disowned claim that he had abandoned the plan to be part of a mass protest scheduled for Nigeria’s Independence Day and embraced agitation by a segment of people in the Southwest for the creation of Oodua nation out of the country.

Sowore, who was a co- convener of #RevolutionNow said this while reacting to a publication attributed to one Maiyegun, indicating that he has abandoned the  #RevolutionNow Global Mass Action slated for October 1st 2020, and has declared support for agitators of Oodua nation.

Govt Wants To Rearrest Me, Infect Me With Virus – Sowore

The publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, has claimed the federal government is plotting to rearrest and infect him with coronavirus.

Sowore was initially arrested and detained in August last year over his #RevolutionNow Movement.

In a series of tweets on Thursday night, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 election, said he was a wanted man again, following a report he did on President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, had contracted coronavirus.

#RevolutionNow: Sowore, Bakare’s Trial Resumes Wednesday

The trial of Omoyele Sowore, Convener, #RevolutionNow, and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare, will, on Wednesday, resume before Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
Although the hearing was scheduled to begin today, Tuesday, the absence of the presiding judge stalled the trial.
At about 9a.m. when News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) visited Court 7 on the fourth floor of the building, the courtroom was empty aside from the court registrar and few workers doing their official assignment.
On the cause list attendance, Sowore’s case with suit number: FHC/ABJ/CR/956/2019 was on item nine according to the serial number.
