Three days ago I left the Republic of Biafra with certain members of my Cabinet as a result of a decision taken by that Cabinet in the interest of our people’s survival.

46 Doctors Resign From Ojukwu Teaching Hospital

No fewer than 46 medical doctors have resigned from the Anambra State-owned Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Awka, over poor condition of service.

They were made up of 10 consultants and 36 resident doctors.

The university’s chairman of the Medical and Dental Consultants of Nigeria, Dr Chukwudi Okani, stated this on Wednesday in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

He said the doctors were “frustrated out of the system because of poor management in the last one year and many more are seriously searching for better places to go.”

A  member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu Jnr. has appealed to leaders and members of the party nationwide not to allow his father’s legacy go down the drain.

The first son of the late Chief Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, founder  of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)  made the passionate appeal over the weekend.
