Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour and Employment has issues a message to public officers in Nigeria.

Yuletide: NSCDC Deploys 2,000 Officers In Plateau

The Plateau command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 2,000 men and officers for a crime free and peaceful yuletide in the state.

Buhari Tells Police Officers How To Gain Trust Of Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday urged the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, to uphold the trust reposed on them by Nigerians by maintaining professionalism in their operations.

Buhari made the appeal during the commissioning of 628 Cadets of the Regular Course Two of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil in Kano and was contained in a statement signed and sent to NAN by his Media Aide, Femi Adesina.

Army Redeploys Senior Officers, Makes New Appointments

Following the recent promotion of some senior officers, the Nigerian Army has released the postings and appointments of the officers to various military formations across the country.

Colonel Sagir Musa, Acting Director Army Public Relations in a statement issued on Monday indicated that, the posting which was approved by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen TY Buratai is a routine exercise carried out to reinvigorate the system for greater professional effectiveness and efficiency.

ISWAP Kill 3 Security Officers, Threatens Army In New Video

A new video dated December 8, showing the execution of two Nigerian soldiers and a policeman has emerged online.

In the video which was obtained by Channels Television on Monday, the killing was carried out by masked men believed to be members of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP).

Those who were killed were reportedly abducted at a fake checkpoint in Benisheikh, a village seventy kilometers west of Maiduguri, Borno State capital.

Ikoyi Prison Electrocution: 8 Officers Suspended

Eight officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) have been suspended over their alleged role in the electrocution of five inmates of the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Ikoyi, Lagos.

They have been directed to proceed on suspension to enable unfettered investigation into the sad incident.

 The 9 Brigade Command of the Nigeria Army, Ikeja Cantonment in Lagos State,  on Saturday paraded a hard drug peddler, Okafor Collins,  caught with 60 wraps of substance suspected to be cocaine.

Naval War College Graduates 18 Military Officers

Eighteen military officers have graduated from the Naval Warfare Course 3 of the Naval War College in Calabar, Cross River State.

The latest graduates are the first set since the inception of the inauguration of the War College at its permanent site in Calabar in 2017.
