2023: Oduduwa Youths Backs S’East Presidency

Youths from the South-west under the auspices of Oduduwa Youth Parliament has thrown their weight behind the clamour for Igbo presidency in 2023.

The youth group led by their Speaker, Abdulmajid Oladimeji who disclosed this on Tuesday while conferring a title on Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu as the ‘Mayegun of Oduduwa parliament‘ (leader of peace) in Owerri noted that they have decided to support the Igbo based on equity and fairness to the zone.

Soyinka Attacks Balarabe Over Comment On Oduduwa Republic

Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka on Tuesday condemned remark by Balarabe Musa, former governor of Old Kaduna State on the establishment of Amotekun by Southwest governors.

Musa had over the weekend alleged that Southwest establishment of Amotekun was a ploy by Yorubas to create Oduduwa Republic.

Amotekun, Ploy By Yoruba Leaders To Create Oduduwa Republic

A former governor of old Kaduna State, Balarabe Musa, has said that the main reason the leaders and governors of the Southwest region set up the new security outfit, Operation Amotekun was to create Oduduwa Republic.

NAN reported that Governors in the South West region had established and inaugurated the security outfit to curb the menace of herdsmen attacks in their region.
