Wike on Sunday monitored the demolition of two hotels for flouting the lockdown order he imposed as part of measures to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the state.

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s nationwide broadcast will help to bring all the separate interventions into an integrated response strategy.

Buhari had, during a nationwide broadcast on Sunday, ordered a lockdown of Abuja, Lagos, and Ogun States, respectively, in a move to curtail the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) to other states.

The move became necessary following the rise in cases of patients with Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Ezekwesili Shows Buhari How To Avoid Coronavirus Impact

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has said there is a possibility of a global recession affecting Nigeria following outbreak of Coronavirus.

Few days ago, Nigeria confirmed its second case of the CoVID-19 virus which has continued to spread widely in Europe and other countries outside of China.

The virus has recently resulted in travel bans to some countries and cancellation of premier league fixture between Manchester City and Arsenal.

On Tuesday, Buhari in a meeting with Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) and Assembly Healthcare Professionals Associations (AHPA) lamented that Coronavirus is affecting Nigeria’s revenue.

Buhari explained that Nigeria would
