Wike To Igbos: Why Will You Allow IPOB Criminals Speak For You?

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has asked the Igbo why they allow the outlawed Indigenous People Organisation of Biafra (IPOB) criminals to speak for them.

Wike spoke when the national leadership of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) paid him a courtesy visit at Government House, Port Harcourt on Friday.

Wike told the NGE that the #EndSARS protest was peaceful in Rivers State until the outlawed IPOB took laws into their hands.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has launched a verbal attack and threat on the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on his Official facebook page.

This was after Governor Wike, had on Friday proscribed all activities of the IPOB, in the State.

Wike made the declaration in a statewide broadcast over the recent happenings in Rivers State, where the Police Command reported that IPOB members are responsible for the mayhem in the State.

Nyesom Wike led Rivers Government on Monday evening claimed it has received an intelligence report that the Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi-led faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) wants to infiltrate Tuesday’s  #EndSARS protest in the state to cause the destruction of lives and property.
