Nigerian Senate Announces ₦5m Donation To Nigerian Legion

The Nigerian Senate on Monday announced the donation of about ₦5 million to the Nigerian Legion as heroes of Nigeria’s civil strives.
President of the Senate Ahmad Lawan made the presentation on behalf of the senate when he received a delegation of the 2022 Armed Forces Decorations team in his office in Abuja.
Africa Daily News, New York gathered that Lawan also gave ₦500,000 to the Nigerian Legion in his private capacity while saying that the Armed Forces deserved support for sacrifices made in tackling various forms of insecurity in the country.
