Tinubu 'Why Tinubu Has More Followership In North Than South'

‘Why Tinubu Has More Followership In North Than South’

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has more followership in the northern part of Nigeria than in the south, a member of the House of Representatives, Mufutau Egberongbe, has argued.

Egberongbe said this is because the former governor of Lagos has, over time, proved himself worthy as a nationalist, whose main focus is uniting the country to meet the goals set by its founding fathers.

“In the country, the way it is now, only few selfless people you can find whose thinking and actions reflect the need for peace and prosperity of Nigeria. Asiwaju

However, such belief could not be entirely discarded based on how different territories were ruled before the colonial era which brought alterations in the powers conferred on monarchs.
