The Chairman of the southern Governors forum and the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has declared that the next President of Nigeria must be someone from the South in 2023, stressing that this in order not to thwart the power rotation arrangement in the country.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has claimed that there is no shortage of booklets again for the production of passports in the country,
The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, made this known while speaking at the commissioning of the Enhanced Passport Production Centre in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Capital on Tuesday.

Following the backlash generated from his inability to show up for his performance in Tanzania, Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel, has apologised over the failure vowing to hold a free show in the country this weekend. 

Daniel was arrested in Dar es Salaam on Monday for failing to perform at the show. Fans had earlier trashed the venue in anger at the non-appearance of the singer.
