The sum of ₦30 million has been demanded as ransom for the release of three hostages who were abducted by suspected gunmen – as earlier reported, the assailants shot and killed Segun Ayebulu an operative of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

NSCDC Moves To Sack Incompetent Officers

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has announced that it will discharge any official caught involved in fraudulent activities and functioning inappropriately.

This was announced by Dr. Hammed Abodunrin, Ondo State Commandant of NSCDC, at a three-day workshop scheduled for the command’s high-ranking officers.
