Nobody Can Dictate To Buhari – Presidency Speaks On NEC Meeting

The Presidency on Sunday insisted that the All Progressives Congress, APC, National Executive Council, NEC, meeting held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa was virtual not a physical one.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu said no one can dictate to the president where to sit or hold meetings.

Recall that APC NEC meeting, which led to the dissolution of the party’s National Working Committee, NWC led by immediate past National Chairman was held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

APC Cancels Emergency NEC Meeting, As Discord Deepens

In a move that shows the deepening discord in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC an emergency National Executive Council meeting of the party called for 17 March, has been cancelled.

The meeting was called by Victor Giadom, deputy national secretary, who signed as acting national secretary, after the party announced Architect Waziri Bulama as the substantive secretary on Wednesday.

He has now been countermanded by three APC chieftains Babatunde Ogala (National Legal Adviser), Lanre Issa-Onilu (National Publicity Secretary), and Waziri Bulama (National Secretary).
