Flights For 2022 Hajj Begins June – NAHCON

Reports reaching Africa Daily News, New York have shown that the airlifting of Nigerian pilgrims to this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia will commence on June 9 from Maiduguri, Borno State. The spokesperson of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Fatima Sanda Usara said in statement Friday.

She said the commission’s advance team will depart for Saudi Arabia on June 6.

The statement further stated that NAHCOM has also signed Hajj airlift agreement with three airlines.

Taj, Jaiz, NAHCON Explore Hajj Savings Scheme

Interest in the promotion of Hajj Savings Scheme in Nigeria has continued to gather pace as two Islamic non-interest banking institutions, Taj Bank and Jaiz Bank have met the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on its feasibility.

The Head, Public Affairs NAHCON, Fatima Sanda Usara, revealed that the Commission’s Chairman, Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad and officials from the two banks met recently on the subject.
