
Move Exams From Sallah Day, Islamic Group Urges NECO
The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has called on the National Examinations Council (NECO) to move its exam which it earlier scheduled for Saturday, July 9 to another day as it clashed with the first day of eid-el-Adha (Sallah) in order to allow Muslim students to participate in the exams.
The director of MURIC, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, made this request in a statement which was made available to reporters on Monday.
Africa Daily News, New York gathered that the NECO body has already scheduled Data Processing (Practical) from 10am to 1pm this Saturday.
