President Buhari Mourns Vincent Ogbulafor Ex-PDP Chairman

The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has finally sent his condolences across to the family of Chief Vincent Ogbulafor who is the former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who had passed on Friday at 73.

In a statement which had been put out by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, on Saturday in Abuja, Buhari had also commiserated with some of the leaders and members of the PDP, the Olokoro Royal family in Umuahia, the government and the people of Abia State over the loss of the former party chieftain.

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to deliver his address at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) next Wednesday.

Buhari Grants Nigerian Citizenship To 286 Foreign Nationals

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday awarded Nigerian citizenship to 286 nationals, calling on them to be good citizens of the country to enjoy all the rights and privileges bestowed on them.

‘You have pledged your allegiance to Nigeria. When you give your love and loyalty to Nigeria, she returns her love and loyalty to you,’ the president told the awardees during an event at the State House.

The president explained that out of the 286 foreign nationals presented with certificates of Nigerian citizenship, 208 received certificates by naturalisation, while 78 got certificates by Registration.

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has ordered security agents to go after terrorists within the country’s borders and restore law and order.

Buhari pointed out that security agents have been given the mandate to hunt, pursue, and speak to terrorists in the language they understand.
