Border Force Impedes ‘Hundreds Of Migrants’ At English Channel

The Border Force have announced that they have intercepted several groups of migrants in the English Channel who were desperate to migrate illegally.

In a statement which was sighted by Africa Daily News, New York, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) was reluctant to reveal the numbers involved until Monday (today), however, people who count arrivals in Dover have told the correspondentsΒ that they believe it was more than 200.

The MoD said the government is addressing the issue by ‘cracking down on people smugglers’.

It is believed to be the first time there have been crossings in 11 days.

At least 30 Indian migrant workers were killed Saturday in road accidents as they tried to return to their home villages during a nationwide coronavirus lockdown, officials said.
