Less than one week after the traditional ruler of Yoruba Kingdom Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, got married to his fifth wife, the king is set to tie the knot with his sixth wife, Princess Temitope Adesegun on Monday.

This was made known by Moses Olafare the spokesperson, in a Facebook post on Sunday which was sighted by Africa Daily News, New York Palace.

The Church of England, on Thursday announced changes in marriage law.

In a statement issued by the House of Bishops, led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, the bishops declared that Christians in gay or straight civil partnerships should be sexually abstinent.

According to him, sex is for straight married couples only, adding that a lifelong union between a man and a woman, contracted with the making of vows remains the proper context for sexual activity.

The leaders of the Church, however, warned that churchgoers with civil partnerships should be treated ‘sensitively and pastorally’.

A 25-year-old Zimbabwean man Lonias Jojo has allegedly axed his 72-year-old father and dumped the body in a disused mine shaft to save his marriage which his dead father was against.

Jojo allegedly hatched a plan to kill his father, Luke Robert Jojo with his 18-year-old wife, Brenda Dube of Village 4 Greenspan, Chief Bvute in Mberengwa last week Thursday.
