Restructuring Will Rebalance Nigeria – el-Rufai

The Kaduna state governor Malam Nasir el-Rufai has stated that there is a unique opportunity for all Nigerians who believe in the merits of restructuring to work together to realize it. This is according to a statement signed by Muyiwa Adekeye, his Special Adviser on Media and Communication released Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

In a letter titled ‘Restructuring is a national endeavour, let’s realise it together’, the governor calls for a collective national endeavour to secure the necessary constitutional amendments as regard to restructuring. The statement reads: Restructuring is a national endeavour, let’s realize it together.

The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, on Wednesday, approved the appointment of Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli as the 19th Emir of Zazzau.

He succeeds HRH Alh. (Dr.) Shehu Idris who died on Sunday, 20th September 2020 after reigning for 45 years.

In a statement on Wednesday by Commissioner, Ministry of Local Government Affairs, Ja’afaru Ibrahim Sani said, Alh. Bamalli is the first emir from the Mallawa ruling house in 100 years, following the demise in 1920 of his grandfather, Emir Dan Sidi.

El-Rufai’s Apology A Display Of Hatred Of Southern Kaduna

The Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU), Kaduna State, said the apology by the State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, to the people of Igabi and Giwa Local Areas of the State over bandits attack, showed a double standard played, on the part of the governor.
