ISWAP Logistics Intercepted As Nigerian Troops Stop Vans

Nigerian troops operating under Operation Hadin Kai have intercepted two pickup vans carrying logistics believed to be destined for Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters in Borno State, the military said.

The interception was carried out by troops of Sector 2, Joint Task Force North East, following intelligence reports indicating the movement of supplies from Dapchi in Yobe State toward the Magumeri axis of Borno, according to a military statement released in Maiduguri.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that the  large number of political parties that participated in the 2019 general elections created a lot of logistics problem.

Malam Mohammed Haruna, the National Commissioner in charge of Kwara, Kogi and Nasarawa States,  said this in Ilorin while speaking with journalists.
