Presidency Gives Ministers Ultimatum On #EndSARS Protests

The Presidency has accused Amnesty International  (AI) of skewing report on the Lekki shootings, insisting it could not have more facts about the country than President Muhammadu Buhari’s ‘helicopter view’ of things happening in the country.

The Lagos State Government has sealed one mall and a plaza in Lekki for violating its directive banning large social, religious gatherings, parties, and clubs in the state as part of measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reassured Lagosians of his administration’s commitment to rid the state of traffic gridlock.

Taskforce Set To Remove Illegal Structures In Lekki

The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit (Taskforce) says from Dec. 21, it will embark on a clean-up exercise by removing illegal structures in Lekki, Lagos.

The Chairman of the Agency, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, made this known in a statement signed by the agency’s Head, Public Affairs Unit, Adebayo Taofik.

Film Entries Open for Lekki Film Festival

The submission of films for the second edition of the Lekki International Film Festival opens on Thursday, November 14. This is five months ahead of the actual festival events, a shift from the month of June to April. The inaugural festival held in June at the Lekki Coliseum in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
