Boko Haram: Leah Sharibu Delivers Second Baby In Captivity

The Dapchi Christian Schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu, has delivered a second baby in Boko Haram captivity, according to a United States-based group, US-Nigeria Law Group.

The group noted that the young girl had both children in 2020 following the terrorists’ announcement of her childbirth earlier in 2020, adding ‘We are still investigating this.’

The group lamented the condition Ms Sharibu has found herself as it could be argued that the government has abandoned the Dapchi ‘heroine Christian’ schoolgirl.

Report coming from Dapchi, the headquarters of Bursari Local Government Area of Yobe State revealed that Boko Haram attacked the town on Wednesday evening. According to Channels Television, the suspected Boko Haram members attacked the town which is 100 kilometers from Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.

Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki on Friday contacted father of Leah Sharibu, the abducted Dapchi girl still in captivity of Boko Haram.

Thursday marked the second year of Leah Sharibu in the captivity of insurgents.
