#EndSARS: Lagos Lawmaker To Donate ₦10m To Victims

Mr Temitope Adewale, a Lagos lawmaker, says he has earmarked ₦10 million emergency relief fund for victims of the #EndSARS clash at Fagba area of the state.

Adewale, representing Ifako-Ijaye Constituency 1 in Lagos House of Assembly, made this known to newsmen in Lagos on Friday.

There was bloody violence, burning, and looting in Ifako-Ijaiye area this week under the guise of #EndSARS protest.

Adewale said that the fund was to give respite to victims of the sad occurrence which claimed many lives in Fagba, Iju, and Abattoir areas of Ifako-Ijaye, Lagos.’

Member representing Garki/Babura federal House of Representatives, Hon. Adamu Muhammad Fagen-Gowo, is dead.

NAN gathered that Fagen-Gowo died at the age of 74 in Dubai Hospital after battling leg problems, which he travelled for medical attention.

His death was confirmed to NAN by a relative of the deceased, Muhammad Had Inuwa(Walwala).

A member of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Isah Harisu, is dead.

The lawmaker passed away on Monday during plenary.

Harisu, the representative of Kebbe Constituency, was said to have arrived the assembly complex in seeming good health.

THISDAY gathered that he later showed signs of discomfort, slumped and died.

Wajir Woman Representative Fatuma Gedi was allegedly beaten up on Thursday morning by Wajir East MP Rashid Amin in the parliament building.
