Three Daredevil Robbery Suspects Nabbed By Lagos Police

In a fresh report, the Lagos State Police Command has announced that is has arrested three suspected daredevil traffic robbers, who were identified a Usman Mohammed, Azeez Adeleke and Solomon Odiya, in Ikeja.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin who is the spokesperson for the Command had confirmed the arrest in a statement in Lagos.

Hundeyin said that the suspects were arrested at about 8:00 p.m. on June 19, at Mobolaji Johnson Road, Ikeja.

A policeman who went berserk and shot his colleague dead has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.

The culprit, Inspector Monday Gabriel from No 21 Police Mobile Force Squadron Abuja, on Special duty in a Federal Government facility in Ikoyi, Lagos, went berserk and started shooting sporadically.

He shot one Sergeant Felix Okago dead. Okago, who was on Special duty with the Inspector, died from the gunshot injuries while others escaped unhurt.

Two Policemen Arrested For Killing Lagos Teenager

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two policemen for allegedly shooting a teenager dead at Bariga area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

The two police officers are ASP Theophilus Otobo and Inspector Oguntoba Olamigoke attached to Bariga Police Station.

They allegedly shot a 17-year-old girl, Tina Ezekwe dead.

Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Bala Elkana, in a statement on Friday said the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu has ordered an in depth investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Ezekwe.

The Lagos State Police Command has invited controversial singer Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley for interrogation for attending a party on Saturday hosted by Nollywood star Funke Akindele for her husband’s birthday.

In a statement by Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, Naira Marley and Abdul Rasheed Bello a.k.a. JJC Skillz to report at the State CID Yaba on Monday for questioning after they took Funke Akindele into their custody for breaching government ban on large gatherings.
