The indgenes of Ibeju in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State have made an open appealed to the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to make sure that he approves the monarch recommendation which had been made to him regarding the choice of the next Onibeju, who is the traditional ruler of the town.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is the Lagos State Governor, was in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Monday to unveil some of the projects which had been executed by Governor Nyesom Wike.

The governor formal unveiled the Orochiri-Worukwo Flyover project constructed by Wike.

Sanwo-Olu commended Wike for his strong commitment to the delivery of physical infrastructure in Rivers State, noting that the governor’s effort has been recognised by all and sundry and has earned him the appellation of “Mr. Projects” within and outside Rivers State.

Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said that the yellow buses popularly known as ‘danfo’ will not be scrapped as earlier reported.

Recall that the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Frederick Oladeinde, had earlier said that the yellow buses do not have a place in the transportation master plan of the State.

Oladeinde said the yellow buses would soon be scrapped by the Sanwo-Olu administration.

However, during an interview with Channels TV, the Lagos State Governor said it will be unfair to scrap ‘danfos’ as they have served Lagos residents for a long time.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday described the strike embarked upon by doctors under its employ as unfair and unfortunate.

He said the strike was an opportunistic one by the doctors in view of the raging Coronavirus pandemic in the state.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday, said miscreants using the lockdown to unleash havoc on the residents are not ‘hungry people’ but opportunistic criminals.

Sanwo-Olu, who said this at the COVID-19 and security briefing in Marina, assured that his administration would ensure the safety and security of lives and property of all citizens.
