NDLEA Arrests Suspected Killer Of Officials

The Ondo State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested a notorious drug merchant in the state over his alleged link with the murder of four of its officials.

According to the State Commander of the agency, Haruna Gagara who did not disclose the name of the drug kingpin, the drug merchant allegedly masterminded the killing of four of its men.

He described the arrest as a big catch towards apprehending others connected with the incident.

Alleged Killer Of Oshiomhole’s Aide Set Free

An inmate of Oko Medium Correctional Centre, in Benin, Edo State, Victor Ogunsuyi, who had spent more than 13 years awaiting trial, was yesterday set free by the State Chief Judge, Justice Esohe Ikponmwen.

Ikponmwen  gave the order for Ogunsuyi’s  release during the on-going Correctional Service decongestion visit.

He also ordered the release of Joel Ogbeide, who had spent over six years in custody awaiting trial.  They were among four inmates set free by the outgoing Chief Judge at the Oko Centre.

Others included  Moses Okoro, whose case file was missing and had been in custody for over seven years.…

Akwa Ibom State governor, Udom Emmanuel has vowed to bring to book the suspected Fulani herdsmen who recently killed a farmer in his farm at Nkek, Ukanfun LGA of the state.

The suspected Port Harcourt serial killer, Gracious David West, Tuesday pleaded guilty to charges of murder preferred against him by the police at the State High Court.
He, however, accused the police of withholding ₦60,000, wristwatch and jewelry seized from him during his arrest.

Suspected P/Harcourt ‘serial killer,’ how he killed victim

Suspected Port Harcourt serial killer Gracious David West has told the Nigerian police that he used pillowcases to tie a victim before killing her in a hotel room in Rukpokwu, about 18 kilometres from Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital city.

26-year-old West, whom the police said is a cultist, was arrested on Wednesday on East-West Road en route to Uyo from Port Harcourt.

West said in a video the Nigerian police posted to its official Twitter handle he had transactional sex with a nameless victim. Hours later, the victim was killed.
