Katsina Civil Servants Deserve New Minimum Wage – Masari

Gov. Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State said on Wednesday that civil servants in the state deserve to be paid the new national minimum wage.

“Katsina civil servants actually need the new minimum wage as they have been putting in their best to move the state forward,” Masari said at the opening of the 5th quadrennial delegates conference of the state medical and health workers union, in Katsina.

Masari explained that inflation and other economic leakages had eaten into the current N18, 000 minimum wage.

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State at the weekend explained that ongoing meeting with gang leaders of bandits terrorising the North-west of the country is aimed at stopping the escalating violence in the region, pointing out that dialogue has become an option following the failure of force.

Air Force’s helicopter crashes in Katsina

The  Air Force has confirmed the crash of its helicopter that was returning from a combat mission in Katsina State.

It, however, said no life was lost in the crash, which occurred at about 3.30pm yesterday.

NAF spokesman Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola said in a statement that the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has ordered a probe of the incident.

Daramola said: “A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter has crashed in the process of landing while returning from an anti-armed banditry combat mission in the Northwest Theatre under Operation Hadaran Daji.

Angry youths from Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State, Saturday evening, stormed the Katsina Emir Palace with three bodies of victims killed at Zaka village.

45,000 rice farmers to benefit from FG loan in Katsina

No fewer than 45,000 registered rice farmers across 34 local government areas of Katsina would benefit from Federal Government’s anchor borrowers agricultural programme under the current farming season in Katsina State

Katsina earmarks ₦196m for orphans, women empowerment

The Katsina State government has committed the sum of N196 million to assuage the plight of women and vulnerable children through its Women Empowerment Programme across the 34 local governments of the state for the 2019 fiscal year.

APC targeting 2.8m votes for Impostor Jubril in Katsina

The APC Campaign Council in Katsina State, says it is targeting at least 2.8 million votes for the impostor, Jubril Al-Sudani (imposed on the Nigerian masses as President Muhammadu Buhari  by the cabal currently running the Nigerian Government) in the upcoming presidential election.
