Police Arrest Notorious Kidnapper In Kaduna, Rescue 8

The Kaduna Police said they had arrested a notorious kidnapper and rescued eight victims, including a 13-year-old boy.
Yakubu Sabo, spokesman of the command, said in a statement on Friday that the arrest of the notorious kidnapper led to the rescue of the eight victims in different locations of the kidnappers’ den.

He said the operation took place on Tuesday and Thursday, adding that the notorious kidnapper whose name was given as Mustapha Ibrahim, is assisting the police in investigation.

5 Dead, 2 Injured In Kaduna Bandits’ Attack – NEMA

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said five persons died in recent bandits attack in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the attack has displaced residents from 17 villages now taking refuge at Birnin Yero LEA Primary School.

Mr. Ishaya Chinoko, Zonal Coordinator of NEMA made this known when he led a team on a rapid assessment of the displaced persons from the 17 villages.

NSCDC Busts Two Rehabilitation Centres In Kaduna

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command has busted two more rehabilitation centres alleged of meting inhuman treatments to their inmates.

The state NSCDC Deputy Commandant, Mr Nnegha Onyema, made the disclosure at a press briefing on Tuesday, in Kaduna.

According to Onyema, five operators of the centres, which are within Zaria Local Government area, have been arrested and 11 inmates evacuated.
