Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Juventus beat Udinese 3-1 to join Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A table on Sunday after Antonio Conte’s side were held 1-1 at Fiorentina.

Dusan Vlahovic snatched a point for Fiorentina two minutes into injury time to frustrate Inter Milan who had led following Borja Valero’s opener after eight minutes in Tuscany.

Bonucci Extends Juventus Contract Until 2024

Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci has renewed his contract with Juventus by one year until 2024, the Serie A champions announced on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old centre-back has made 376 appearances for the club, returning to Turin in August 2018 after one season at rivals AC Milan.

He has played the full 90 minutes of all matches Juve have played this campaign, as they sit top of Serie A, one point ahead of Inter Milan in second.

“It’s a long and intense story; the one that links Leonardo Bonucci to Juventus,” the club said in a statement.

Juventus president Andrea Agnelli on Thursday asked the club’s shareholders to approve a 300 million euro ($333 million) capital increase to help expand the Italian club’s global ambitions.

Despite losses of 39.9 million euros ($44m) last season, Agnelli asked shareholders for major investment as part of a five-year plan to keep pace with European rivals such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United.
