Supreme Court Suffers From Poor Funding – Onnoghen

Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen who was the former Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), has made an open warning that unless the Supreme Court of Nigeria would be well funded, the apex Court may soon end up with the standing of a glorified High Court.
Justice Onnoghen openly lamented that most of the Justices of the apex court have been suffering in silence since 2008 when their salaries and emoluments were last reviewed by the Nigerian Government.
