Liverpool Youngster Brewster Joins Swansea On Loan

Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster has joined Championship side Swansea on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 19-year-old, who shot to fame as the top scorer when England won the under-17 World Cup in 2017, is highly rated at Anfield but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by as Liverpool’s established attackers continue to shine.

Brewster has made three appearances for the Liverpool first team, all in the League Cup and FA Cup earlier this season.

United joins Southwest, American in new 737 MAX delay

United Airlines said Friday it pushed back its expected date for Boeing’s 737 MAX aircraft to return to service, following similar announcements by rivals Southwest and American Airlines.

The US air carrier now says it expects flights to resume on March 4, 2020, two months later than a previous estimate, implying the cancellation of thousands of scheduled flights.

The top-selling Boeing jets have been grounded since March of this year following the second of two crashes which left 346 people dead.

An Ethiopian envoy has said that the military and opposition groups have agreed to resume talks on the formation of a transitional council that collapsed after the violent dispersal of a protest sit-in on June 3.

Tibor Nagy, the U.S. assistant secretary of state for Africa, met on Wednesday with the main opposition coalition and held talks with Sudan’s acting Deputy Foreign Minister Ilham Ibrahim.
