
Jigawa Govt Announces Shutting Down Of Schools Over Insecurity
Less than forty-eight hours to the terminal closing day of schools in the state, the Jigawa State government has directed the immediate closure of all public schools in the state following a series of security threats.
Africa Daily News, New York gathered that the state governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar issued the order after receiving comprehensive report on a possible attack on schools planned by suspected bandits.
The closure of the schools has consequently interrupted the placements and writing of promotional exams by the students.
