FG Drags Meta, Owners Of Facebook, Whatsapp To Court

The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria has constituted a suit against Meta Platforms Incorporated which is the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp platforms and its agent β AT3 Resources Limited β at the Federal High Court, Abuja Judicial Division.
This had also been disclosed in a statement which had been put out by the highest regulatory body for Nigeriaβs advertising, ARCON.

ARCON had also argued that the Meta Platforms Incorporated has continued to expose the Federal Government to loss of revenue adverts.
