INEC Chairman Reveals Extension Of Voters’ Registration Process

As he caves in to the mounted pressures to extend the date for the Continuous Voter Registration exercise, Professor Mahmood Yakubu who is the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has made announcements that the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration which had been initially scheduled to come to an end on the 30th of June, 2022, has been adequately extended.

Some of the detectives from the Department of Security Service, DSS, Port Harcourt branch have detained a guard attached to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Rivers State for selling some of their sensitive materials.

In a fresh decree, the Federal High Court in Abuja has completely barred the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) which is the country’s electoral umpire from ending the process of voter registration on June 30, 2022.

Honourable Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon (Court 10) on Monday had openly granted an order of interim injunction which was following the hearing of an argument on motion exparte by Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP).

Osun State INEC To Extend Date Of PVC Collection Deadline

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Osun State chapter has finally announced an extension of its deadline for the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for prospective voters.

Reps Orders INEC To Extend CVR Exercise By 60 Days

In one of their recent sessions, the Nigerian House of Representatives at plenary has on Wednesday, mandated the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to give an extension on the ongoing Continous Voters Registration, CVR, exercise by 60 days.
